Distance education learning is intended to utilize the Internet to deliver specific program courses anytime anywhere, in majors within the Traditional program, Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business in Organizational Leadership, Ministry degree, Leadership, Certificate Courses, and independent ministry courses, which are required for denominational ordination. Financial pressures are forcing many students to work longer hours during this economic crisis in the U.S. Individuals are forced to take on additional part time jobs, so they need flexibility of being able to take at least one or two online courses each term. Mid-career professionals also like the convenience of fitting online courses into their busy work and family schedules, a service that community colleges are offering today. By adopting an on-line system, Central Christian has programs and courses available in this modality, viewed as a 24-7 college program by potential new students. Students are able to complete the course work, watch videos, view web pages, etc. at a time that is convenient for their schedules.

Business in Organizational Leadership

The modern organization requires leadership to not only demonstrate business expertise, but also have the people skills needed to manage the demands of the contemporary marketplace. The organizational leadership major is a strategic combination of experiences that combine the strengths of management and psychology, based on a Christian worldview. As a graduate of this program you will be equipped with the tools needed to be successful in human resource management, organizational management, marketing, or other positions requiring qualified leaders.



Health Information Management (Degree Completion)

Program’s foundation is information management fundamentals built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. The goal of the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management is to provide a unique path for Registered Health Information Technicians to obtain their Bachelor’s in HIM.



Healthcare Management Concentration (Degree Completion)

This degree is designed to prepare students to build influence and leadership in the global business economy. The program’s foundation is business fundamentals built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. The BBA program will help students acquire a strong background in law and ethics in a wide variety of healthcare topics, enabling them to deal with common legal and practical problems facing patients, their families, practitioners, care givers and society within the healthcare industry.



Human Resource Management Concentration(Degree Completion)

The program’s foundation is information management fundamentals built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. Designed to teach human resource managers how to effectively lead in a hospital or healthcare setting, the program covers a wide range of human resource responsibilities including interviewing & hiring, compensation & benefits management, the handling of claims, personnel counseling, employee training and performance evaluation, compliance with state and federal regulations, and labor relations and mediation and many others.



Medical Practice Management Concentration (Degree Completion)

The program’s foundation is information management fundamentals built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. The MPM is designed to prepare students to face the broad range of challenges involved in navigating the issues and opportunities within an organization as well as from an increasingly complex healthcare system. Topics include financial management, third-party contracts, organization and governance, and benefits planning. Students will be better equipped to provide recommendations for operational or infrastructure improvements which will allow medical practices to be better positioned for future success.
